We are convinced that an informed, inspired, and engaged society is essential to facilitate the ecological transition. That is why awareness raising is one of the fundamental pillars of our action.

COMIC STRIPS: AN ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN IN THE MOUNTAINS

Summit Foundation runs a unique awareness campaign: panels shaped like comic speech bubbles, installed directly in the field, in ski resorts, and in many mountain destinations. This visual, playful, and eye catching format makes a lasting impression and encourages more responsible behavior, both in summer and in winter.
Since 2022, the campaign has entered a new phase, more ambitious and more comprehensive, which will continue until 2026. It pursues four major objectives:
  • Raise public awareness of the impact of littering in the mountains
  • Reduce the amount of waste abandoned in nature
  • Offer simple and effective solutions to preserve the Alps
  • Encourage responsible behavior in all four seasons

Thanks to our strong partnerships with ski lift companies, we benefit from prime locations to share this awareness campaign. Present in more than 50 ski resorts in Switzerland and neighboring France, with more than 1,000 visuals displayed, our campaign reaches several million people every year, strengthening its impact.
