MAKE A BEQUEST
Pass on what matters. Protecting the mountains for future generations
Making a bequest to Summit Foundation means extending your commitment beyond your lifetime and offering a sustainable future to the landscapes and ecosystems you love.
Together, we can preserve the mountains for the long term.
Why make a bequest to Summit Foundation
For more than 25 years, Summit Foundation has been working to protect mountain ecosystems, reduce waste, and raise awareness among tourism stakeholders and the public.
A bequest allows you to make your commitment enduring and contributes to:
- The long-term conservation of Alpine landscapes and biodiversity
- The development of innovative solutions for sustainable tourism
- Passing on an intact natural heritage to future generations
Making a bequest to Summit Foundation is making a strong choice for the planet and leaving a positive and lasting footprint.
What is a bequest
A bequest is much more than a testamentary provision: it is the possibility of leaving a lasting legacy that reflects your values and your commitment.
By choosing to support Summit Foundation through a bequest, you extend your action for the mountains and their ecosystems, even beyond your lifetime.
There are several ways to pass on this gesture:
- Specific bequest : bequeathing a sum of money, a property, or a symbolic object.
- General bequest : bequeathing a fraction of your estate, with complete simplicity.
- Universal bequest : bequeathing your entire estate, after protecting your loved ones in accordance with the law.
In Switzerland, bequests in favour of organisations recognised as being of public utility are tax-exempt, thus maximising the impact of your commitment.
You do not need to be an expert. With the help of a notary, you can draft or adapt your will easily and securely, giving your gesture its full strength and permanence.

How to make a bequest to Summit Foundation
- Draft or modify your will (ideally with a notary).
- Clearly name Summit Foundation as the beneficiary.
