Mission Dahu is an educational game designed to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of winter sports and leisure activities in the mountains. Throughout their experience, children are accompanied by a mythical animal, the Dahu.

In brief
The Mission Dahu game offers educational and fun activities for children aged 8 to 12. It complies with the Plan d’Etude Romand (PER) and is recommended by éducation21.
Available in a digital version, this educational activity is very flexible. It can be used during a break at a mountain restaurant as well as in a more extended and structured way during a week long ski camp.

OBJECTIFS
Through the game and field experiments, children learn that practising winter activities has impacts on the environment.
Students also develop their critical thinking by reflecting on different ways to take action.
Themes
Le jeu s’articule autour de 6 thématiques environnementales : faune et flore, déchets, transports, matériel de sport, alimentation et eau.
Mission Dahu a été réalisé en partenariat par Summit Foundation et l'association romande ECHO impulsion.
Mission Dahu à Gryon
Depuis 2023, la mission Dahu est disponible sous forme de sentier didactique à Gryon.
