WORKING FOR
CLEANER MOUNTAINS

SORTING STATIONS

Waste sorting has now become an essential topic in everyday life, whether in urban centres, at events, in public spaces or in the workplace.

Existing systems are often inefficient: users throw away their waste without paying much attention and, not uncommonly, into the wrong bin. The resulting sorting quality therefore does not allow the collected waste to be recycled, which ends up being incinerated.

SUMMIT FOUNDATION REINVENTS WASTE SORTING

With the sorting column, the Foundation offers an unprecedented sorting system. The user is faced with a vertical piece of furniture, as opposed to traditional side-by-side recycling bins. Through this innovation, sorting quality leaps to over 93%, ensuring a second life for waste within recycling streams.

AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SOLUTION

Beyond the sorting issues it helps to solve, the sorting column also incorporates environmental protection into its design: from manufacturing using durable materials to volume optimisation to limit raw material use, as well as a system of interchangeable front panels for the rapid modification of the types of waste to be sorted. The sorting column is also manufactured entirely in a sheltered workshop in Switzerland, which also gives it social value.
